Veterans United Home Loans Hosts Vietnam War Veterans Day Celebration
Gary Sinise and The Lt. Dan Band to Headline National Mall Concert on March 29, marking the first time National Vietnam War Veterans Day will be recognized with a walk down Constitution Avenue and a major concert.
WHO: Veterans United Home Loans; Gary Sinise and The Lt.Dan Band; Rob Riggle (master of ceremonies); Craig Morgan; The Military District of Washington’s Army Field Band; Vietnam Veterans of all service branches.
WHAT: A large-scale National Welcome Home Celebration honoring Vietnam Veterans, featuring a ceremonial Welcome Walk down Constitution Avenue and a tribute concert near the Vietnam Veterans Memorial. The afternoon will also include the debut trailer for an upcoming documentary narrated by Sinise about 10 Vietnam Veterans returning to Vietnam for the first time since the war.
Vietnam Veterans of all service branches are invited to participate in the Welcome Walk; advance registration is required to secure seating in the designated Veteran section for the concert.

WHEN: 12:30-5 p.m., March 29, National Vietnam War Veterans Day
WHY: To publicly recognize, honor and celebrate the service and sacrifice of Vietnam Veterans — a homecoming 50 years in the making — and to mark five decades since the end of the Vietnam War with national gratitude and recognition.
