This Ceremony is part of our nation’s thank you to Vietnam Veterans and their families for their service and sacrifice with: Brig. Gen. John Rose Retired.
The Sacajawea Chapter of the DAR is uniting with others across the nation to do what should have been done 50 years ago: honor these veterans and their families for their service and sacrifice. The wall is a reminder of the ultimate price our Washington State men and their families paid in response to their call to serve. The ceremony begins with the reading of every name engraved on the wall, and it ends with the pinning of every veteran in attendance or the family member who represents their missing soldier. It does not matter where the military chose to use your services during the Vietnam War. If you served, you are eligible to receive this tribute from The United States of America Vietnam War Commemoration office in Washington DC.
