Veterans United Home Loans; will host a National Welcome Home Celebration honoring Vietnam Veterans. The event will feature a ceremonial Welcome Walk alongside alongside the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool at the National Mall and a tribute concert near the Vietnam Veterans Memorial.
The celebration continues with a concert featuring Gary Sinise and The Lt. Dan Band; Rob Riggle (master of ceremonies); Craig Morgan; The United States Army Old Guard Fife & Drum Corps, The United State Army Chorus.
The afternoon will also include the debut trailer for an upcoming documentary narrated by Sinise about 10 Vietnam Veterans returning to Vietnam for the first time since the war.
Vietnam Veterans of all service branches are invited to participate in the Welcome Walk; advance registration is required to secure seating in the designated Veteran section for the concert. This event is free.
