Events commemorating The Wall's 35th Anniversary take place throughout 2017. Ticketed events include Evening Reception Honoring Maya Lin, Designer Of The Wall; and, Breakfast And Discussion With Lynn Novick, Co-Director Of The Vietnam War. Other Veterans Day events include Reading Of The Names, and Veterans Day Observance At The Wall. Plan to join us as we remember and honor those who served in the U.S. armed forces. The Keynote Speaker will be Former Secretary of Defense, The Honorable Chuck Hagel. Maya Lin, architect and sculptor, designer of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial will deliver special remarks. The Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C. is located along Constitution Avenue between 21st and 23rd Streets, northeast of the Lincoln Memorial on the National Mall.
