Greg Gaffney, of Hummelstown, will discuss his experiences as a radar operator/communications specialist in the Air Force with the 1882 Communications Squadron at the Central Pennsylvania Vietnam Round Table’s next meeting in May.
That will take place at 7:30 p.m. May 12 at the Vietnam Veterans of America Michael J. Novosel MOH Capital Chapter 542, 8000 Derry St., Harrisburg.
Gaffney split his time from January 1967 through February 1968 between the Phan Rang Air Base and the Dalat OL-25 radar site. He also served in northeast Thailand at the Nakhon Phanon Air Base from October 1968 through August 1969.
