Events commemorating The Wall's 35th Anniversary take place throughout 2017. Ticketed events include Evening Reception Honoring Maya Lin, Designer Of The Wall; and, Breakfast And Discussion With Lynn Novick, Co-Director Of The Vietnam War. Other Veterans Day events include Reading Of The Names, and Veterans Day Observance At The Wall. The Reading of the Names will take place in 65 hours over a four day period. The Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C. is located along Constitution Avenue between 21st and 23rd Streets, northeast of the Lincoln Memorial on the National Mall.
