The celebration kicks off Nov. 11 with a sunrise service at the Paducah riverfront, followed by breakfast held at the Julian Carroll Convention Center for veterans, along with their friends and family. An awards ceremony at Schroeder Expo Center is planned for 9 a.m. and will include recognizing recipients of the Distinguished Veteran and Patriot awards.
Other events planned include afternoon programming for middle school and high school students and an American Hero Concert from 6-8 p.m., featuring the Community Concert Band and 101st Airborne Sustainment Brigade Army Band.
