Borough council member Todd Stewart will be the emcee. The traditional program will continue at the memorial, with Taps being played.

A Memorial Day service will be held in the grove at Peace UCC, 37 E. Swartzville Road, (Route 897), Denver. The 11 a.m. service will be led by Pastor Betsy Bruaw. The service will include recognition of the flag, a history of memorial services in the U.S., as well as singing the national anthem.
