Broward County Parks and Recreation Division’s Special Populations Section will offer an Introductory Disc Golf Skill Development Program. This free program is for veterans with or without disabilities. The program will be held for consecutive weeks on Fridays, May 3rd through May 31st, from 1 to 2 p.m. Consistent attendance is required for the five weeks, as each week participants will build on skills learned in the prior week’s class.
Join us in what has become one of the fastest-growing sports! Learn disc golf fundamentals, skills, equipment, and field of play, rules, and more. James Polo will be the lead volunteer instructor, with assistance from other Disc Golf Association member volunteers. Disc golf is an enjoyable, affordable, and active outdoor recreation or competitive activity that can be played at many of Broward County’s beautiful parks.
