The 2026 Shaw Air & Space Expo scheduled for March 28-29, 2026 at Shaw AFB, Sumter, SC will feature a major recognition ceremony for Vietnam Veterans and Purple Heart recipients. As a Vietnam veteran living in Asheville, NC, I plan to attend the Saturday event and may stay for the Sunday ceremony. I would appreciate if I might attend as a “waivered” guest with your group. In addition there was an article in the Medical College of Georgia’s publication about Dr. Major Bobby Marvin Jones who is MIA and presumed deceased https://magazines.augusta.edu/2019/06/25/missing-but-never-forgotten/. Bobby and I both graduated in the 1971 Medical College of Georgia medical school class and also attended the summer, 1972 USAF Aerospace Medicine Course at Brooks AFB, TX.
