On August 3, 2024, the American Airpower Museum and Honor Flight Long Island will host a patriotic reunion honoring 41 Vietnam War and five Korean War veterans. This event celebrates their historic visit to Washington, D.C., on May 4, 2024. The reunion will take place from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Hangar 3, with a Ceremony of Honors, including a personalized Tribute Journal for each veteran. Entry is free from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM. Post-event, regular museum admissions apply. Special performances by the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla Band and a live rendition of “Welcome Home, My Brother” by HFLI Guardian Eric Wieboldt will enrich the day.
